Veganuary was launched in the UK in 2014 by vegan founders Jane and Matthew, who quite simply want to see a vegan world. Veganuary started as a way to encourage people to try a vegan lifestyle by making it a month-long challenge during January. This is now a part of our culture with hundreds of thousands signing up each year and brands launching their new vegan products during the month. 

How we get involved

We step up our social media posts using the hashtag to highlight the importance of veganism and encourage those who engage to sign up for the challenge.
